| | Bridge Aquila 4 string electric violin |
Superb sounding hollow bodied carbon fibre and kevlar electric violin, with custom pickup.
| | Bridge Lyra 5 string electric violin |
Same again, but with 5 strings. My main live instrument.
| | Bridge 8ve electric violin. |
Brilliant new violin from Bridge, this time giving me cello range, down to the 'g' string.
| | Custom Mark Wood Viper. 6 string fretted electric violin. |
Superb custom purple instrument. Uses a chest support system for complete movement. No left arm or chin/shoulder to hold the instrument up.
| | 4 string acoustic. |
My grandfathers violin. I still use this instrument to practise on. Superb sound.
| | Headway VL1. |
Active violin pickup with pre-amp.
| | Adam Sweet Carbon Fibre Fiddlers Bow. |
Still in the prototype stage, but a fantastic bow. Not as controllable as the Incredibows but enormously powerful.
| | Incredibow Lightweight bow. |
Literally an Incredible low cost CF bow with synthetic hair. Very controlable.
| | Incredibow Aururabow Realis. |
A fantastic live bow from Incredibow, changes colour in the light.
| | Incredibow Cello bow. |
I use this for playing the Viper.
| | Musicary bow. |
Carbon fibre bow, in white. This bow has so much bite, it's unbelievable. Incredibly fast playing can be achieved, lol.
| | Gelrest. |
A synthetic gel pack chin rest which makes the rest more comfortable, and helps reduce the "Nigel Kennedy" neck growth.
| | Boss GT-5 floor effects unit, with midi control x 2. |
Excellent multi effects unit. I DI straight into the mixing desk with this. No need for amps and speakers, I just model them. I have one for main use, and one for backup.
| | Boss GX-700 guitar effects unit, with midi control. |
A rack mount version of my favourite, the GT5.
| | Gibson Echoplex rack mounting looping delay unit. |
I can build up huge orchestral looping textures, jam on top, and link for midi equipment such as drum machines.
| | TC Electronic FireworX rack mounting effects processor. |
This machine is a bit special. Rather than the normal reverb/chorus type effects, this processor allows resonant filters, vocoding and more.
| | Digitech Studio Quad V2 rack mounting effects unit. |
Used for extra thickening reverbs mainly. Midi controlled from the GT5.
| | Digitech Studio 400 rack mounting effects unit. |
Double the power of the Quad, not using it much atm, building it into a new rack.
| | DMC Ground Control Plus Midi control system. |
allowing me to control up to 8 individual pieces of midi equipment. Very programmable, and built like a tank (good for me).
| | Samson E62 rack mounting stereo 31 band e.q. |
Used for sound tweaking. I use a stereo unit so I can have live and studio settings.
| | Trantec S3500 radio transmitter. |
Good quality transmitter, never breaks up, even open air. Has multiple frequency setup.
| | LA Audio Di2 mk3 active D.I. box. |
High quality, sonically invisible D.I. box for feeding a mike input on a mixing desk.
| | Thomastik Dominant and Superflex violin strings. |
High quality, expensive violins strings. I just wish I didn't break them so easily, (note to myself - must learn to play normally).
